Here is my second draft for my music magazine, complete with information on the changes I have made.
Changes to front cover;
- Changed background to black as it looks much more visually striking
- Added image of festival to cover and moved text to other side
- Changed third artist on top to Coldplay to increase diversity
Changes to contents;
- Top background changed to black for more of a house style
- Coldplay added to contents in line with cover
- Text completed and questions coloured blue to make page easier to read/fit house style
- Put orange outline on pull quote in line with house style
- Coloured title blue in line with house style
- Made text columns semi-transparent as I think it looks smoother on the page
- Created 'Recored Breaker Ozzy' section to lower page to add diversity and colour
ReplyDeleteSome nice tweaks here and not much else to do. My main comment would be to look at that quality and composition of your front cover image- I also question the rule of thirds and shot type/distance
DPS- the font is hard to read still- can you play around with the background colour to the text boxes or choose a bolder font type or colour?
